The receptions rooms can accommodate up to 550 seated guests (banquet) as follows: - The stables: 180 people - The billiard room: 90 people - The lounge: 60 people - The office: 50 people - Guards' room: 100 people - The dining room: 60 people. The main courtyard can accommodate up to 600 seated guests.

One of the advantages of Château de Poudenas is that we can organise the entire reception both indoors and outdoors. If the weather conditions do not allow you to hold the cocktail party and/or dinner outside, you will be able to relocate to our various reception rooms included in your package or by taking optional rooms. If we add up all the reception rooms, we can seat up to 540 people.

We have good 4G reception generally everywhere outside Poudenas. Wide-range wifi is available in all the function rooms and accommodation on site.

You are free to choose your caterer. When you make your reservation, we will provide you with a list of local service providers that you can ask for quotes, but you are under no obligation to use any of them. We provide the caterer with a catering room (85 m2) with a 3 x 30 A meter, so that he can set up, as well as a cold room so that he can store all his foodstuffs in a cool place.

Music is permitted: - outside until 11.30pm. - in the dance hall until 4am. Option to extend the evening until 6am.

Fireworks: yes, in the dedicated area of the park (unless the site is on fire alert or equivalent). Lantern releases: this depends on the wind, humidity and municipal and prefectoral decrees. Candles: yes outdoors and indoors, depending on the venue and the candle/photophores used.

Yes, when a wedding is organised, the bride and groom have exclusive rights to the venue.

Sunday brunch is included in the various wedding packages we offer. As an option, and at an additional cost, you can have brunch at the château's swimming pool.

Cleaning is included on departure. Intermediate cleaning is available on request. Guests are required to leave the gîtes in a normal state, with all rubbish emptied and removed.

The car park in the grounds of Château de Poudenas allows you to park all your guests' cars in a designated, well-lit area.

Our wedding packages include 28 beds (14 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms). There is also the possibility of renting the independent gite "Le bastion du prince noir", which has its own private swimming pool and can sleep up to 14 people (7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms). We have PRM access and accessible bathrooms.

In the grounds of the château we have a tennis court, a 4-hole putting green and a golf practice range. We can put you in touch with a bike hire company (normal and electric) for a cycle tour of the surrounding area (bikes are available in the château grounds). We also work with partners who can organise various indoor or outdoor activities (escape games, Olympics, cookery workshops, etc.).

We have 21 rooms in our 4 gites. We sleep 21 people in single rooms. If some people can share a room with two twin beds, we can increase the capacity to 36 people. We also have partnerships with bed and breakfasts or hotels in a fairly close radius to increase our accommodation capacity.
