Halfway between Bordeaux & Toulouse, during all seasons, organize your wedding tailored from 50 to 500 guests. In a place steeped in history, which overlooks the charming village of Poudenas, we have very flexible reception areas. We will make every effort to make this day unforgettable. For your religious ceremonies, we can put at your disposal the chapel of the castle.
ON SITE
Numerous spaces at your disposal for an upscale French-style wedding in the heart of Gascony.
A 10-hectare park for cocktails, ceremonies and next-day brunches, dinners al fresco/dancing in the majestic inner courtyard for up to 800 guests. We offer six adjoining reception rooms for up to 500 guests, including 180 in one room: the former stables. The south-facing terrace offers an incomparable panoramic view for a cocktail party of 200.
OUR PACKAGES
Three packages are available to suit all our brides and grooms. They all include 3 on-site gites to accommodate 28 people.
"Essentiel" includes 2 reception rooms, the Grandes Ecuries (176 sq. m.) and Le Billard (100 sq. m.), the Cour d'Honneur, the park and gardens for your ceremony, cocktail party or dinner. For the next day's brunch, you're free to choose between the two rooms or the park.
"Panorama" includes 3 reception rooms, the Grandes Ecuries (176 sq. m.), the Billard (100 sq. m.) and the Salon (65 sq. m.) with access to the panoramic terrace, the Cour d'Honneur, the park and gardens for your ceremony, cocktail party or dinner. For the next day's brunch, you are free to use the three rooms or the park.
"Prestige" allows you to privatize the 6 reception rooms, with access to the panoramic terrace, the Cour d'Honneur, the park and gardens for your ceremony, cocktail party or dinner. For the next day's brunch, you are free to choose between the rooms or the park.
OPTIONS
The Bastion du Prince Noir gîte with its private swimming pool to accommodate a further 14 guests within the château grounds.
The château's swimming pool: you can host your cocktail party or brunch around the château's swimming pool in an idyllic setting.
The "guinguette": we install guinguette-style string lights (3 arrangements) in the courtyard of honor to illuminate your dinner and the evening of this unforgettable day.

A magical, timeless wedding!
"Château de Poudenas is a magnificent venue! We welcomed our guests in the château for the cocktail reception, then in the splendid courtyard for dinner. We felt like we were in Tuscany, shaded by cypress trees during the cocktail and warmed by the soft stones of the château during dinner. It was simply magical!
The château's self-catering cottages are very practical for welcoming families and witnesses the day before the wedding to prepare everything as a group between two swims in the superb pool (great atmosphere guaranteed). A real delight! A big thank you to Alix and Jean (and all the people who help them preserve this timeless place)."
